About The Guelph Academy of Dance Inc.
Our mission at The Guelph Academy of Dance is to provide dancers with an intimate atmosphere where students flourish under professional instruction. We are a non-competitive art focused dance school where the emphasis is placed on pursuing the art form, enjoyment, and proper training, not on competition. Our qualified and experienced instructors will work to enhance each student’s confidence, strength, and love of movement. The studio offers children’s classes in Creative Movement, Ballet (RAD), Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. The studio also offers Adult Classes in Ballet, Broadway Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Tap.
The Guelph Academy of Dance graduates have gone on to peruse post-secondary professional programs by attending Simon Fraser University and George Brown College. Our dancers have also been accepted to prestigious pre-professional training programs at The National Ballet School of Canada and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School.
In 2019-2020 our studio was delighted to offer classes to over 500 dancers each week having grown from 75 in 2006.
