Guelph Academy of Dance

Welcome to the Guelph Academy of Dance Inc.

Our studio offers a unique opportunity for children to learn to dance in a non-competitive environment where the emphasis is placed on the art form, proper training, technique, and love of movement. We offer children’s classes in Creative Movement, Ballet (Royal Academy of Dance), Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop for ages 2 to Adult. Every year, in the late Spring session, the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) conducts ballet examinations at our studio. We have grown from 65 students in 2006 to offering classes to over 400 dancers each week in 2023-2024.

Our studio has won multiple community awards over the past 19 years including the Diamond Award for Favorite Dance Studio in Guelph according to The Guelph Mercury Tribune’s Readers Choice Awards, TOP CHOICE award for Best Dance Studio, Readers Choice awards from The Guelph Mercury Tribune for Favorite Dance Teacher, Favorite Dance Studio, and Best Summer Camp.  The Guelph Academy of Dance is also currently ranked in the top three studios in Guelph by Three Best Rated. In 2017 our director, Briana Lynch, was honoured with a Women of Distinction Award through the YMCA/YWCA.  Our faculty adores what we do and are privileged to share our love of dance with your children every week.
