About The Guelph Academy of Dance Inc.
Welcome to The Guelph Academy of Dance! Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment for dancers to blossom under professional instruction. We are a non-competitive dance school with a strong emphasis on pursuing the art form, enjoying the process, and receiving proper training. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to boosting each student’s confidence, strength, and passion for movement. Our studio offers a variety of children’s classes including Creative Movement, Ballet (RAD), Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. Additionally, we provide Adult Classes in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Tap.
The Guelph Academy of Dance graduates have gone on to peruse post-secondary professional programs by attending Simon Fraser University and George Brown College. Our dancers have also been accepted to prestigious pre-professional training programs at The National Ballet School of Canada and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School.
In 2023-2024 our studio was delighted to offer classes to over 400 dancers each week having grown from 75 in 2006.
