This is hands-down the best summer camp in Guelph. Whether your child is majorly into dancing or just wants to dabble in it for fun, the days are fully planned out, organized, and keep the kids happily engaged in fun and thoughtful activities. The camp councillors are exceptional… from the moment you walk in to drop off, they are 100% engaged with both parents and campers, and go out of their way to make every single camper feel welcome and included. Rather than leaving your kid at a place that offers little more than glorified babysitting, TGAD makes every single camp day different and fun. Many lasting friendships have been made at this camp. The Dance Days of Summer is a unique dance camp experience right here in the city! Whether children are experienced dancers or just beginners, enrolled in the studio or coming to try it out, our summer program will provide an excellent opportunity to try numerous different dance forms and activities in an encouraging and positive environment.
During the week-long program students will be exposed to Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Drama, Yoga, and more. The camp program will also provide a creative outlet for all students in Arts and Crafts as well as Choreography.
The program is an ideal way for children to try out a new program or dance form without having to make a full-year commitment. The day is packed with activities to keep everyone busy from the very first class to the end of the day; there is never a dull moment here at The Guelph Academy of Dance!
The camp day is from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Complimentary early morning drop-off service available at 8:30 am.
Complimentary aftercare is available until 5:00pm.

Our campers are divided into three groups:
Minis: 5-7 years (entering SK-Grade 2 Sept. 2025)
Inters: 7-9 years (entering Grade 2-4 Sept. 2025)
Seniors: 10-13 years (entering Grade 5-8 Sept. 2025)
Students are responsible for providing their own healthy lunch and snacks. When packing a lunch please include a water bottle (they will need it!) and remember that The Guelph Academy of Dance is peanut-free. Dancers remain under staff supervision during breaks and lunch and can be only be taken away from the camp with written permission.

Summer Camp Cancellation Policy

Fees are non-refundable unless written notice is given to the administrator no less than 2 weeks before the camp start date.

A $75.00 administrative fee will be charged and is non-refundable for all withdrawals.

If there is a medical reason for the withdrawal a doctor’s note must be provided and a refund will be issued.

There are no family discount rates during the Summer Camp program.

Payment for summer camp must be paid in full prior to the start of the session.
