Our mission is to provide an enjoyable intimate atmosphere where dancers flourish under professional instruction which will enhance each student’s confidence, strength, and love of movement.

Discover the joy of dance in a unique non-competitive environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential. At our studio, we believe in nurturing both the artistry and the technique, inspiring dancers to move with confidence under professional and experienced tutelage.
From our youngest dancers at age 2 to adults embracing or rekindling their love of movement, we offer exciting classes in Creative Movement, Ballet (Royal Academy of Dance), Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. As a proud RAD-registered studio, we host annual ballet examinations each spring, giving our dancers the chance to earn internationally recognized achievements.
Since opening our doors in 2006 with just 65 students, we’ve grown into a vibrant dance community of over 400 youth dancers and over 100 adults in our 2024-2025 season. Whether you’re stepping into the studio for the first time or continuing your dance journey, you’ll find a place here to learn, grow, and thrive!

What’s coming up?
I danced here for 13 years all because my mom instantly fell in love with Briana’s energy from the minute she walked into that first little studio in 2006. After graduation, I worked at the front desk, and now I teach my own classes at the studio. I have loved this place for as long as I can remember, so I just decided to never leave because it makes me so happy. The sense of community at this studio is something I have yet to find anywhere else. It feels like a home away from home. My mom was right: Briana’s energy is special and so is the space she has created with the help of the incredible staff. If you’re looking for a place to dance, look no further. This place is truly magical.

The Guelph Academy of dance is a a warm, inclusive atmosphere with teachers and a Director who truly care about the students and their families. While the classes are fun, professionalism is key and the students are taught in a way that will prepare them for a future in dance, if that is what the child desires. A year-end recital provides a great showcase of the skills each level and dance form has accomplished that season. We have been a part of the Guelph Academy of Dance community for 10 years and I have watched my daughter flourish in confidence and skill.

Simply the best. The most welcoming environment and talented staff. We have the utmost respect for the Artistic Director who is exceptionally dedicated to her students and simply, the kindest, most humble studio owner we have ever met.
